A proud indigenous building company, Director, Tye Forrester, has almost two decades of industry experience. He is supported by an experienced team of tradesmen, administration staff, apprentices and contractors, and is passionate about employing and training the next generation of indigenous builders.

Abundantly aware of the need for sensitivity when dealing with cultural issues, Tyecon has embedded connections in the regional community, enabling projects to be solely constructed with 100% indigenous subcontractors and support agencies.

Established in 2011, Tyecon has experienced sustainable growth over many years and has a well-established reputation in the market as the leading indigenous construction company in the western region of NSW. With an impressive portfolio of diversified building projects successfully delivered and satisfied clientele from government and national businesses to residential property owners, Tyecon is well placed to build on existing capabilities and further strengthen our market position.

    Tye Forrester

    Director & Licensed Builder

    From starting out as a brickies labourer and completing a building apprenticeship in Dubbo, to establishing the leading Aboriginal construction company in Western NSW, Tye Forrester has always been driven to succeed and help others along the way. As someone who has thrived on the challenge of overcoming obstacles, Tye, a proud Wiradjuri man, truly understands the value in creating successful relationships over the long term.

    Tye has a broad range of practical construction management experience gained over two decades. He uses his significant commercial and residential construction experience to provide strategic and operational guidance to the organisation and our project partners. He oversees the companies financial stability, corporate risk management and operational framework and systems.

    Tye’s professionalism and integrity go back to the days when a handshake was as solid as a written contract. That is still how Tye does business - with transparency and respect. It’s his open, collaborative leadership approach that has fostered a successful and inclusive culture at Tyecon.

  • Michael Glockler

    Contract Administrator

    Michael has more than three decades of construction management experience gained working on infrastructure projects for NSW Public Works and State Water. This public sector experience, means Michael possesses business acumen and governance skills which have been an integral part of Tyecon’s success to date.

    Michael oversees our projects from start to finish ensuring that the work is completed on time and within budget. His attention to detail often results in efficiencies and innovative solutions being identified. Michael is well respected for his professionalism and honest communication style.

  • Tristan Delany

    Site Supervisor & Qualified Carpenter

    Since joining our team, Tristan has demonstrated his capabilities to manage our project sites with strong communication and practical problem solving skills. Tristan now has over 6 years of well-rounded experience in the construction industry working across the residential and commercial environments. He is responsible for on-site supervision and implementing our quality, environmental and safety management systems.

    Tristan is a proud Wiradjuri man and passionate about leading our apprentices and contributing to our mission of creating the next generation of indigenous builders.

  • Scott Davey

    Construction Manager & Qualified Carpenter

    Scott is an experienced construction manager with proven ability to successfully lead teams and manage construction sites to ensure quality and safety outcomes. He has managed a wide range of residential and commercial builds with the capacity to effectively manage a program of works.

    A qualified carpenter by trade, Scott has an eye for detail that is second to none and prides himself on the level of finish he is able to consistently achieve using a wide range of materials across varying projects. He is extremely focussed on exceeding client expectations with a practical communication style and demonstrated ability to solve problems using his significant knowledge and calm demeanor.

  • Todd Parkes

    Contract & Compliance Manager

    Todd, a former SafeWork NSW Inspector, has recently joined the team bringing with him more than 15 years of public sector and regulatory experience.

    Todd is responsible for the ongoing refinement of our quality, environmental and work health safety management systems and practices.

    He understands the need to comply with all relevant legislation, as well as maintaining operational efficiencies and delivering value for the client.

    Office Manager

    Nicole has undertaken numerous roles within the construction industry and uses this experience to oversee a variety administrative roles including accounts payable and receivable, payroll and procurement.

    With previous experience implementing administrative processes and systems and as an occupational hygienist, Nicole brings a keen eye for detail and a practical, problem‑solving approach to every interaction with both internal and external clients.
